Community Development & Volunteer Coordinator

Our coordinator works with a variety of individuals and community organizations to develop and support community activities and initiatives that fall within the FCSS mandate.

Community Development – Identifying program possibilities; initiated by the community; preventative in nature
Volunteer Appreciation Event – Recognizes efforts of Community Volunteers
Compass Program – Supports caregivers in their journey to provide care and support for others
Snow Angels – Partners screened volunteer snow-shovelers with Seniors requesting the need for snow shoveling services during the winter months.
Community Block Party Assistance Program – Provides an activities kit plus $100. reimbursement with proof of purchase for specific items once the Community Block Party & Host has been approved through the Town of Barrhead and our CDVC Coordinator.
