FCSS Youth Program

FCSS Youth! Operates under the Barrhead & District Family and Community Support Services Society and provides youth‐focused preventative services and programs as mandated by the Alberta Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) Act and Regulation.

FCSS Youth! operates from the Charles Godberson Rotary Room at the Barrhead Agrena on Tues & Thurs evenings from 4:30 – 7:30pm.  In addition, FCSS Youth! plans and participates in activities at various local venues.  

Board games, coloring and puzzle stations, homework areas, table tennis and foosball games, paint activities, musical instruments, swimming at the Regional Aquatic Centre, bowling, movie nights, skating at the Agrena, karaoke, digital and on-line games, hikes around our community, splash-park games, picnics, dances, volunteerism, and educational courses and events.
FCSS Youth! also plans activities and events in the community such as sports nights – volleyball, dodgeball, badminton, frisbee games and other recreational activities or fundraisers.
